August 1st is #WorldLungCancerDay.
As people affected by this disease know all too well, lung cancer rarely attracts media attention even though it claims more lives worldwide than any other type of cancer.
The Global Lung Cancer Coalition is the ‘voice’ of lung cancer patients worldwide, bringing together 38 patient advocacy groups from 27 different countries to share knowledge, experience and understanding of the disease.
We urge members, supporters and all concerned, to help share information and spread the word via social media – and face-to-face conversation – that lung cancer MATTERS.
